"​My sculptures are a reflection of my innermost feelings that are portrayed in the faces of my animals. Peacefulness, beauty, innocence and wonder are a few of the emotions that I depict in my creatures. I feel that there is more than enough darkness in the world as it is, and I am compelled to create a respite of peace and beauty, a 'ray of light' so to speak. I want my sculptures to be more like companions, a warm, friendly face to sooth someones soul."
